Might be kind of neat to have a section where you need to transport yourself into space quest 7 to get an item or do something. Having to walk across the 2 games may be neat. I just sent e1ven a note to that effect.

That seems kinda weird... VSB takes place after SQ7 anyway, so why'd he have to teleport himself into the past? We already have him teleporting into Vohauls mind. I think that's enough.

Well i was thinking as just an easter egg. And who said it happened after SQ7 anyway? Maybe they are 2 tangential universe's which merge via wormhole at a certian point. I think it would be kinda cool to have a certian point where in the SQ7 game roger has to come into the VSB game. Also in the VSB game roger would go into the SQ7 game. Its good publicity for both games.

Maybe roger could try and reboot the fridge or try to hack the fridge. But instead when he opens the door it opens into the sq7 universe.

Well, that'd certainly add a lot more to the fridge.

And I think it's a good idea.

But what would he do or get?

Inside the SQ7 universe, would he appear as we draw him or as the SQ7 team draws him? Would he meet himself?

Should we add the use of the parser in that room, like they are?

We could also change the other GUIs, like it was done on SQ4.

Hmmm... It's not a bad idea with the wormhole, but VSB does take place after SQ7... Great idea, though. Just like the catacomb-joke in CMI.

Waffler once (unwittingly) revealed that SQ7 was the marriage-part. He was SQ7 writer at one point, but there wasn't room for him. I didn't get more out of him, but I think it's enough to conclude that she probably didn't get pregnant in SQ7. Also, I got that little bit of info long before all the trouble about him started.

Ats all up for debate. Although i still need to hear back from e1ven if hes interested. Im thinking we use one of there pre-rendered backgrounds. And if SQ7 roger wants to travel in our world we can either send them a background from us or make one custom.

I think it shouldn't be something that's important for the game. Just Roger getting into the fridge, into SQ7 and making some remarks like "Hey, this is very familar!", not neccessarily revealing anything about SQ7.

I've just talked with Colin. He didn't get the PM at first, so I've told him about the idea, and he doesn't seem to be closed to it. He'll need to get access to the dev forums, but although I can do that, I want to check with you first. Also, it is now 100% certain that Bea and Roger WON'T get married in SQ7. But that she will be pregant. Keep that in mind, quality control-people!

We can't do too much about that without really knowing the logistics of it. Or we can just assume that this is a period of time after SQ7.

Or, just have them be two separate entities which reference each other.

So what're you suggesting? That we ask for dev privileges to their forum as well? Might be a good idea if we're going to do this.

If that were the case, it could be something like the TNG episode "Parallels", in which all the quantum physics are messed up, and all of these parallel universes appear, only slightly different from each other.

So there could be a quantum fissure inside the refrigerator, activated by opening it up.

"Holy cow Roger, you just crossed a vortex into alternate world, and you only have 30 seconds before the vortex reappears (or some such)!"

Given the secrecy of their project I dunno if they'd give us a peek. Sure, it'd be nice, but I doubt they'd do it.
