Vohaul Strikes Back

I can't get past the guards outside Nevers office in the moonbase. I have made the costume with the box and ink and cut the edges off the box but when I go outside the door the guards shoot me. I need a hint about how to get past them.

I think I have done everything up to the point where you go to the ape's bootcamp but I can't figure out how to get there.
