Fair 'nuff. It'd also be a bit confusing if the library and amusement park themes sounded so much alike (clarinet and all).

Nice, funny, teddybear-like creatures and dark, scary caverns are two different things. My question is: do you want the music to be more Furkunz or cavern-like?

Oh, and I also think that the library music should be more like J.S. Bach. I'll make it so then.

Can you do something like "In the Hall of the Mountain King" except with softer instruments and no progression to a climax?

Hmm, yeah, that's the kind of cave-y and quirky I was thinking of.

How about this? It's a short demo. Shall I make it this way?

Great atmosphere! I approve!

And the idea for a Bach-like theme for the library is very nice too!

Yeah, that's pretty good :y:

Could perhaps use those bell sounds a little more, like the ice cave theme has, so they'd be more similar as well.

I still think that the chimes are way overused in that ice cave theme.

So from an IRC discussion it turned out that olzen and I like the chimes and the drums in the ice cave theme, while pcj finds them silly. So we're thinking that when that tune gets redone, the chimes could probably be just toned down a bit, but still remain there. And olzen says using different samples would also help a lot.

maybe for the furkunz theme you could perhaps make something similar to the "pool of sorrows" theme from Kyrandia. maybe an upbeat version
