You need to chain the General to the antenna so he can't leave.

I have the same problem. I tried using the chain (manacle) but it is fastened around my ankle. is there any way to get it off? Or should I use something else...

Thanks for the AMAZING game guys! I am really loving it!!

How exactly do you get the general to appear on the transmission tower? I had figured out to use the radio on the tower, and got the cut-scene of him leaving the kitchen, but he doesn't seem to appear on the tower, even if I leave the scene and return again. Also, going to the kitchen he's still there. Is there something else that needs to be done to trigger him appearing on the transmission tower, other than using the radio? Thanks.

Hmm, sounds like a bug. Did you load a save from an earlier version of the game at some point in this playthrough?

Darn. I was hoping that wasn't the case. No, I've only been playing the one version that I downloaded on the 14th January. According to the file details, it's file version 3.2.1.115, product version 3.2.1. It's a shame. It was a pretty good game up to that point.

For some odd reason, the version number of the main exe seems to refer to AGS rather than the game itself.

Unfortunately, the latest version - 1.0.30 - was uploaded the day after you downloaded the game. January 15. You can download the zip-file and overwrite the files in your VSB-directory, but there's no guarantee your savegame will work, unfortunately. This is an inherent weakness of the AGS engine, and unfortunately, I don't know if we can do much about it, other than urging all players to get the latest version :(

Bugger. :P. Okay, I'll download the new version and play from scratch if the savegames aren't compatible. Thanks for the help.
