Bit overused by now.

And in some way, so is mine, but it's a scientific explanation, so it's somewhat justified. (Otherwise we could argue why in so many movies rainfall is explained by condensation and gravity ;) )

Doctor Viktor van Vektor! :y:

Maybe his odd appearance could be explained by him being a semi-holographic interphased projection or something like that, so he could interact with the physical objects but appear to everyone in a weird 2D way.

Or... not.

Hmm, still not entirely sure about this... but it might work with a few little tweaks. I'd at least make the lines vectorised first ;)

Animating could get tricky, though. Especially anything related to facial expressions, such as talking ;)

Bootcamp doctor

This is pretty much what I've had in mind all along: http://www.vohaulstrikesback.com/upload/2DCharacters/doctor.png So basically, I imagined him (it?) as a floating head with ear-wings whose face looks like Dr. McCoy from TOS (added photo for reference because my drawing sort of sucked). The main r...

Lookin' good! Especially the afro, I think we could keep that. And perhaps give the other one a mullet.

And maybe the priest could have some white hair to make him look even older?

Hmm, strange... the image won't work when accessed by the URL but can be downloaded via FTP. But now, having seen the images.... nice work! And here come the notes: The major's outfit could be a bit less thick. I somehow managed to miss this in the general Furkunz image, but as they are technically ...

Allright. By the way, it would also be useful to read (or re-read) the script for that part . It's not too long and probably gives you the best idea of the characters. But anyhoo, here comes the summary with initial visual descriptions: Mayor Nurb Dressed more fancily than the others, probably a bit...

So, what would you like to do next? a) design a new character (probably the penguin in the sewers. We could likely make some Macaroni Penguin references too) b) "specialise" the Furkunz - sketch out the different Furkunz characters (mayor, bartender, priest, etc). I'll get you the full lis...

Aye, much better! Perhaps you could do one where his hat is down to match the indoors-being-ness-ed-esque-ity-ness? EDIT: To prevent confusion, I'd like to add that by "hat is down", I meant that he'd have taken the hood off as he's inside and not down as in covering his ears or something ...

What I do know for sure is that it is actually bloody cold in those caves. Particularly in the areas not densely populated by lit torches, unlike this one ;) Yes, it's not really beachy, but I still think they shouldn't be dressed as if they were in the middle of an Antarctic blizzard. Something mo...

Well, although they live on an ice planet, they're inside the caves which is somewhat like indoors. So they shouldn't really be dressed like eskimos but on the other hand, not too tropical either.
