How do I get the red and blue chemicals away from child Vohaul?

Needless to say, the answer was something simple.

I never found a place where the plans are used, is that bad?

Well, I've tried Furkunz, Merf, grey poupon, and the name of the caveball player that is postered in the room.

I could use a hint for the safe.

I'm not sure what I'm supposed to do next, steal the coke bottle or get into Merf's house, but either way, I'm stuck.
