Edit: After a facepalm, I've rewritten the following post. Someone made an AGS Editor plugin that exports every room to xml and pngs. There's chatter about code tweaks to include hotspot info if you can recompile it. Then again that thread was a couple years ago, so something like it might be stock...

Dropping the Photo onto FaceBurn's desktop icon has no effect.
You have to drop the Photo onto Security Viewer's desktop icon!?
Looks like testers got used to bringing up the FaceBurn window first and dropping the Photo there.

After installation, the default setup is fullscreen+Direct3D.
Anyone whose monitor doesn't support the game's resolution gets an error.
Windowed+DirectDraw should run on any system without issues, so that would be a safer default.
